Kalgoorlie-Boulder Community Garden

The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder has worked with the community to create a community garden in Kalgoorlie-Boulder, located next door to Hammond Park. The garden is a great place to get involved in community gardening, to learn about gardening techniques and waterwise practises, and to begin growing your own organic produce.

Follow the Kalgoorlie-Boulder Community Garden on Facebook or contact the City's Sustainability Officer on 9021 9600 for more information.

Kalgoorlie-Boulder Urban Landcare Group

The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder has fostered an ongoing partnership with the Kalgoorlie-Boulder Urban Landcare Group (KBULG).  KBULG is the caretaker of Karlkurla Bushland Park - the largest in town -and one of the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder’s most popular parks. From Karlkurla Bushland Park, KBULG runs a native plant nursery which provides the town with a steady supply of ready to plant Goldfields Natives. KBULG also runs tours of Karlkurla Bushland Park for school groups.

To book a tour for your school or learn more about the many events that KBULG organises, follow them on Facebook, or visit their website.
