The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder proposes to make the Local Government Property Amendment Local Law 2018.
The purpose of the proposed local law is to amend the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder Local Government Property Local Law 2010 (“principal local law”) so as to more effectively regulate certain forms of anti-social behaviour on local government property.
The effect of the proposed local law is to amend the principal local law by:
- inserting additional activities that may only be undertaken with a permit on local government property under clause 3.13 of the principal local law;
- amending clause 4.1 so as to prohibit a wider range of anti-social behaviour on local government property;
- revising the modified penalties applicable to prescribed offences under Schedule 1 of the principal local law; and
- making consequential amendments.
