2018/19 Differential Rates

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO LEVY DIFFERENTIAL RATES

In accordance with section 6.36 of the Local Government Act 1995, notice is hereby given to ratepayers of the intention of the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder to levy the following differential rates for each rating category for the 2018/19 financial year.

UV Exploration / Prospecting $285 18.5812
UV Lease – General Purpose $398 18.5837
UV Pastoral $285 7.7928

Electors and Ratepayers are invited to make written submissions on the proposed differential and minimum rates for Council’s consideration.  Submissions are to be addressed to the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder, PO Box 2042, Boulder WA 6432, submitted at the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder Administration Office, 577 Hannan Street Kalgoorlie, or submitted via email to mailbag@ckb.wa.gov.au.
 
No submissions will be considered after 4pm, Thursday 7 June 2018.
 
Electors and Ratepayers are advised that the 2018/19 Objects and Reasons Rates Statement for the proposed differential rates, adopted at the Council Meeting on the 14 May 2018 is available for inspection.

All submissions received, will be considered by Council prior to final adoption of the Differential Rates for 2018/19 and incorporation into the Budget (with or without modification) for final adoption by Council.
