Burt Street precinct conservation management plan
In May 2008, the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder developed a conservation plan for the Burt Street heritage precinct in Boulder, between Brookman Street and Hamilton Street.
The plan includes a conservation policy with recommendations for each place in the precinct, as well as for the precinct as a whole.
The conservation planning process involved consultation with landowners and the public, and was conducted at no cost to the owners and occupiers of properties in the precinct, thanks to funding from the Heritage Council of WA.
The conservation of the precinct has been a huge benefit to landowners on Burt Street, and Boulder as a whole.
