Environment and heritage strategies

Learn about the Gribble Creek flood management policy and the review of the Municipal Inventory of Heritage Places in the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder.

Gribble Creek flood management study

The Gribble Creek flood study made recommendations for the management of the Gribble Creek flood plain. It was conducted in 2 stages:

  1.  Identifying the boundaries of the waterway
  2.  Proposing works to reduce the effects flooding.

Please download the current Gribble Creek floodplain management and development policy (PDF) which was originally published in 2000, and is currently being reviewed to account for progressive urbanisation of the catchment area.
