Proposed closure of portions of road reserve

In accordance with Section 58 of the Land Administration Act 1997, the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder has received an application to permanently close portions of unconstructed road reserve within the Broad Arrow town site.

The proposed road closures are being sought by Norton Gold Fields Limited to allow the construction of a private access road with carrying capacity greater than that allowable on public roads. The private route will connect the proposed mining tenements to the Paddington Mill site located 37km north of Kalgoorlie close to the Goldfields Highway.

Any person wishing to comment on the proposed closure may do so in writing addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, PO Box 2042, Boulder, WA 6432, within thirty-five (35) days of the publication of this notice.

A plan of the proposal may be viewed at the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder Administration Office, 577 Hannan Street, Kalgoorlie, during the hours of 8.30am to 4.30pm, weekdays or by downloading the proposed plan.
