Ordinary Council Meetings
There are 12 Ordinary Council Meetings scheduled throughout 2021. All meetings are held at Kalgoorlie Town Hall on a Monday night at 7pm, with the exception of the first Ordinary Council Meeting (OCM) of the year, the last meeting of the year and public holidays, in which case the meeting will take place at the scheduled time on the next ordinary business day.
The first OCM of the year will take place on Wednesday 27 January 2021 and will be preceded by the Annual Electors’ Meeting which will commence at 6.45pm. Members of the public are welcome to attend.
*The use of any recording equipment is strictly prohibited by the general public at Council meetings.

Live Stream Council Meetings
You can now watch City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder Council meetings live, online.
Meetings are only available to view as a live stream, and are not available for viewing after the meeting.
Live Streaming will commence at the times that the meetings are due to commence and finish when the presiding member closes or adjourns the meeting for any reason. At any time a motion may be passed by simple majority to stop streaming the meeting.
Meetings closed for consideration of matters under Section 5.23 of the Local Government Act or by resolution of Council will not be streamed.
The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder has a Recording and Streaming of Council Meetings Policy which outlines the purpose and intent of recording and streaming Council Meetings.

Public Access and Public Question Time
Members of the public are welcome to participate in Question Time, which is held at the start of Council Meetings.
Questions must be submitted in writing, using the Public Question Time Submission Form, at least 30 minutes before the start of the Ordinary Council Meeting. Questions can also be emailed to the City by noon on the day of a meeting.
If you wish to make a presentation to the Public Access Session then you need to provide a summary of your presentation using the Public Access Application Form by 2.00pm on the day of the meeting.
