Easter and ANZAC Day opening hours and activities

There will be some closures for City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder facilities over the Easter and ANZAC Day break. Download the opening hours from the quick links panel.

For City emergencies during after-hours, please phone 9021 9600 and follow the prompts. This can include:
  • Environmental Health matters - noise and food complaints
  • Rangers - dog attack in progress or an injured animal
  • Sewerage blockages or waste and rubbish tip enquiries
  • Problems relating to parks, ovals, roads or drainage.
For all other emergencies, please refer to the Central and Eastern White Pages to contact the appropriate authority.


Bin Collections 

There will be no kerbside bin collections on Good Friday, 19 April 2019.
 
Collections for both general waste and recycling will be made on Saturday, 20 April 2019, please make sure your bins are placed on your kerb by 6am.
 
No other bin collections will be affected by the Easter and ANZAC Day public holidays.
 
The Yarri Road Refuse Facility will also be closed on Good Friday, reopening on Saturday, 20 April from 7am to 5pm. For more information visit www.ckb.wa.gov.au/yarri.

The newly refurbished Goldfields War Museum at the Boulder Town Hall has a lucky dip of craft activities perfect for children up to 12 years old. There are six different activities for kids to do with their parents throughout the holidays.

Easter Family Fun Day at Kalgoorlie Golf Course

Spend Easter Sunday at the Kalgoorlie Golf Course for a Family Fun Day! Kids can take part in an Easter egg hunt with the Easter Bunny, have a jump on the bouncy castle and get their faces painted.
