The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder, in partnership with the Kalgoorlie Miner and the Kalgoorlie-Boulder Chamber of Commerce and Industry, will be heading to the Perth Jobs Fair on Tuesday, 17 March 2020 at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre to promote local job vacancies, training opportunities and Kalgoorlie-Boulder.
City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder CEO John Walker said the City was continuing its push to get residential workers relocating to Kalgoorlie-Boulder.
“In recent years we have provided strong support to the KBCCI to deliver the Kal Jobs Expo in Perth. Whilst this had strong outcomes in the past we are now looking to build on that and find alternative ways to reach new audiences,” he said.
“We are privileged here in Kalgoorlie-Boulder with a strong economy built on mining, and this City has a lot more to offer than people think. It’s a great place, we just need to continue to spread the word about the benefits of living and working here.”
The Goldfields Jobs Board, an online Kalgoorlie-Boulder jobs platform, will be populated with residential based vacancies for free. The Goldfields Jobs Board will be used at the event to link attendees directly with potential employers. Businesses interested in listing their vacancies on the platform should contact the Kalgoorlie-Boulder Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
