The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder is inviting comment on the final draft of its updated Strategic Community Plan.
City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder CEO John Walker said the release of the final draft of the SCP was the culmination of four years of transition for the City.
“We’ve had lots of input into the plan from various sources and consultations with the community, including through the Community Perception Survey, and what’s come out of it is a long term evolution of the City’s direction,” he said.
“We’ve just finished four years of innovation and change and now we are moving into the next phase, expressing the priorities that have been identified by the community and by the Councillors.
“We are now at the point of seeking comment from the community before the Strategic Community Plan is adopted by Council.”
“Once the Strategic Community Plan is adopted, the City will then commence review of its full suite of Integrated Planning and Reporting documents, including the Corporate Plan and Long Term Financial Plan, which are high level, aspirational documents, not the nitty gritty operational aspects.”
