The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder’s Annual Grant Program will open for applications on Monday, 3 February for the 2020/21 financial year, with the initiative offering one-off grants and three year service agreements for not for profit organisations.
The program allows not for profit community groups and organisations to apply for funding for projects and events that align with the City’s Strategic Community Plan, and take place between July 2020 and June 2021.
City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder CEO John Walker said the Annual Grant Program was aimed at strengthening and enhancing the social wellbeing, development and sustainability of the Kalgoorlie-Boulder community through the avenue of projects and events.
“We are seeking not for profit groups who want to make a difference in the local community, and contribute to the City’s quality of life through the provision of events, projects, activities and services.”
“It brings an opportunity for community organisations to bring innovative and fresh ideas to the table to help activate our City. I encourage those to check their availability for the program and consider applying”, he said.
City Officers will be running workshops in February and March offering general information, project planning and guidance in the application process for those who may need assistance. Details of these workshops can be found on the City’s Facebook Page.
