Businesses looking for assistance and guidance as they are permitted to reopen for Phase Two easing of restrictions will be supported by the City’s Environmental Health Officers.
City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder CEO John Walker said that whilst local governments were not responsible for enforcing the guidelines for Phase Two, the City was keen to support local businesses as they prepared to reopen.
“We all know that from Monday, the restrictions will be eased, but there are still a number of regulations that need to be followed, and it can be quite overwhelming for businesses who are looking reopen,” Mr Walker said.
“Our Environmental Health Officers are available to provide advice to all local businesses to ensure they understand the regulations and are safe and ready to reopen. They can also work more closely with food businesses to ensure that they have met all relevant hygiene and environmental health requirements, so they can open with peace of mind.”
