The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder will be hosting a free industry forum to support local businesses attract and retain employees.
The Talking Business Forum, which will be held at De Bernales Tavern on Tuesday, 4 August 2020 from 10am until 11:30am, will discuss recruitment trends and the importance of positive workplace culture.
City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder CEO John Walker said the forum had been designed to support local businesses address recurring recruitment challenges.
“We have a lot of businesses locally who are having trouble filling jobs and retaining staff, and this workshop will give them really practical tips to help them fill those vacancies and help get them on the path to some really effective workplace development,” he said.
“This is about supporting them to not only find and recruit those high quality applicants, but also attracting them to live and work here in Kalgoorlie-Boulder.”
The Talking Business forum is supported by High Grade Personnel and Industry Link Media, with an interactive panel session with The People and Culture Office and Collective Culture Consultancy.
