Residents are being encouraged to hit the streets to taste and shop Kalgoorlie-Boulder to support local businesses and have a chance to win one of 10 $100 vouchers.
The Taste and Shop promotion encourages shoppers to snap and share a picture of their purchase or service they have received from local stores to the “Taste and Shop” post on the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder Facebook page.
City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder CEO John Walker said the program was free for all local businesses to participate in, and encouraged them to help spread the word to their customers.
“Spending your money with local businesses has been proven to stimulate job creation, boost the local economy and inject money directly into the community, which is something Kalgoorlie-Boulder really needs right now,” he said.
“We want to show our support for local businesses and reward residents for shopping locally.”
Full competition details and terms and conditions can be found on the City of Kalgoorlie Boulder website, ckb.wa.gov.au/TasteAndShop
