Travelling to Lake Perkolilli for the 2019 Red Dust Revival Race will be made easier with the City of Kalgoorlie Boulder running twice daily shuttle buses from the Kalgoorlie Town Hall to the infamous clay pan race track.
The event, which is proudly sponsored by the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder, attracts motor enthusiasts from all over the state with an impressive line-up of line-up of vintage vehicles, including 60 cars, 40 motorbikes and 8 aircraft.
City of Kalgoorlie Boulder CEO John Walker said the Lake Perkolilli Red Dust Revival is a nostalgic four day family friendly event that is unique to Kalgoorlie-Boulder.
“It’s going to be a great weekend for motorsports and vintage car enthusiasts, especially as it will host Australia’s most historic plane, the Stinson Reliant VH-UXL, three Tiger Moths Vintage BiPlanes, and a 1931 Lagonda Rapier,” he said.
“The free shuttle Bus Service will depart from the Kalgoorlie Town Hall with two round trips daily 7:30am returning at12noon, and 12:30pm returning 4pm. There will also be free camping available at the Lake Perkolilli race site.”
Lake Perkolilli is 23km north east of Kalgoorlie. The site will be clearly sign posted off of Yarri Road. The event will be held from Thursday 12 to Sunday 15 September 2019. For more information, follow the Red Dust Revival 2019 at Lake Perkolilli Facebook page.
