Pop In for Waterwise Pop Ups

27-11 Pop In for Waterwise Pop Ups The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder and WaterCorp will be hosting a Water Wise Pop Up session and showerhead swap in St Barbara’s Square this Saturday 30 November between 9am and 11am as part of the Waterwise Town initiative.

Residents will be able to speak with the City’s waterwise team, including a plumber and a gardening expert, swap their showerheads with the Environmental Sustainability Officer, and chat to KBULG representatives to find out how they can save water this summer.

City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder CEO John Walker said the pop up event was an opportunity for residents to whet their appetite for information on ways to save water and reduce their water bills.

“The City, in partnership with WaterCorp, are working on ways to help residents reduce their water bills, whilst keeping their gardens looking great. They can also find out about our Waterwise Family Fun Day, which will be held in Hammond Park on Sunday 15 December from 10am until 12:30pm,” he said.

“They can also register for more information about our waterwise initiatives to go in the draw to win a fantastic waterwise garden pack, which includes mulch, soil wetting agents, sprinklers, wetting hose, garden hose and sprayer kit and two runner up prizes of wobble sprinklers.”

To be eligible for the showerhead swap, residents must bring down their showerhead and a water bill. Each property is eligible for up to two showerheads.
