Over 50 market stalls will transform the Goldfields Arts Centre into a festive Christmas Market this Sunday, 9 December from 9.30am to 1.00pm.
Held inside the Goldfields Arts Centre and on the forecourt, there will be stalls selling handmade home and giftware items, artisan jewellery, locally produced gourmet foods, quirky crafts and a photography stall to get your family Christmas photo taken.
City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder Acting CEO, Stuart Devenish said, “If you’re looking for a gift for a loved one that’s unique and special, the Christmas market is a great place to find it. Not only will you be giving an extra special gift this Christmas, you’ll also be supporting our creative community and local micro-businesses.”
The market will be offering more than a shopping opportunity with plenty of food and drink on offer from a selection of Kalgoorlie-Boulder’s mobile food vendors and entertainment from local musicians.
Mr Devenish added, “Bring your family and get your faces painted, have a jump on the bouncy castle and enjoy the local entertainers. The Goldfields Arts Centre will even be throwing back the stage curtain and giving shoppers a behind-the-scenes look at the Theater.”
Throughout the markets, make sure you take the opportunity to leave a Christmas wish for the Goldfields Arts Centre by giving your feedback on what you would like to see improved and how the Centre can better serve our vibrant community.
The Goldfields Arts Centre Christmas Market is free to attend from 9.30am to 1.00pm this Sunday, 9 December. For more information visit www.goldfieldsartscentre.com.au
