The annual City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder Christmas Street Party and Lighting of the Christmas Tree are on again, with celebrations kicking off at 5:30pm on Sunday 24 November.
The Christmas Street Party is one of the most popular events on the City's annual events calendar which includes hours of non-stop entertainment on the main stage, local musicians, local performers, arts and crafts, Cassidy Street food zone, camel rides along Hannan Street, bouncy castles, and much more, before finishing with a bang when the Christmas Tree is lit.

City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder CEO John Walker said the annual Christmas Street Party and Lighting of the Christmas Tree event was a family favourite for residents of Kalgoorlie-Boulder.
“Every year this event is well attended, kicking off the Christmas festivities for the City, it’s a great atmosphere and enjoyed by all the family,” he said.
“Children will be excited to find out that they can meet Santa, Mrs Claus and their helpers in Santa's Grotto, before they join Mayor John Bowler in lighting the Christmas Tree, which is then followed by spectacular fireworks.
“There will be a fantastic Kids Fun Zone in the Egan Street car park, with inflatables, street football, free glitter tattoos and face painting, and a free movie screening of The Grinch on Cassidy Street.”
The Christmas Street Party is a free, family event.
As the event will be concluding with a fireworks display at 7.30PM, it may not be suitable to bring dogs, and if you live within the vicinity, residents are encouraged to keep their pets inside.
