Seniors can tune in for Morning Melodies

Seniors can tune in for Morning Melodies The Goldfields Arts Centre will launch a new program aimed at seniors as part of its 2019 season programing to engage with the community.

Morning Melodies will start from Wednesday 10 April with a Soul Divas performance.

City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder General Manager City Living, Holly Phillips, said the initiative was aimed at providing seniors with exciting and engaging entertainment options during the day.

“The Goldfields Arts Centre is an arts hub for the whole community, and we are very aware of its social responsibilities to provide a diverse range of programming for all the different groups in our community,” she said.

“By initiating the Morning Melodies program, the City hopes to make arts and culture more accessible for our senior community members, and by presenting exciting performances during the day, seniors can attend an event when they don’t have to head out after dark, and there isn’t a significant outlay for the ticket.”

Tickets are $25 for adults or $20 for pensioners and concession, and include morning tea provided by event partner Orica.

Tickets are available from the Goldfields Arts Centre Box Office from 8.30am to 5.00pm weekdays, by calling 9021 0999, and online at www.goldfieldsartscentre.com.au.
