Touring Exhibition Lets You Listen While You View ART ON THE MOVE touring exhibition Yagu Gurlbarl (Big Secret) is now on display at the Goldfields Arts Centre showcasing works by renowned Western Australian artist Julie Dowling.

The exhibition, which centers on the theme of slavery of First Nations Peoples in Australia, opened last Friday 30 November in the Goldfields Arts Centre Gallery.

ART ON THE MOVE has also provided a podcast station so you can listen to Julie Dowling discuss her life and influences as you view the exhibition.

City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder Acting CEO, Stuart Devenish said the exhibition has received nothing but positive feedback since it opened, “we’ve had a number of guests leave comments about how powerful and moving the artwork is.”

“The podcasts add another dimension to the exhibition, giving insight into the artist’s life and the meaning behind the artwork. I highly recommend taking the time to view the exhibition while it’s here in Kalgoorlie-Boulder.” He said.

The Yagu Gurlbarl (Big Secret) exhibition is free to attend at the Goldfields Arts Centre from 8.30am to 5.00pm weekdays until 13 January 2019.
