Discover the many wonderful parkland facilities in the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder, perfect for BBQs, family outings and events.

Loopline Park: Loopline Park is in the heart of the Golden Mile Loopline Railway Society Museum and offers shaded seating, shaded playground equipment, toilets and BBQ facilities. This is a great space for families, small and large events, or to relax and enjoy the surroundings. 
Open October to March from 9:00am to 7:00pm; April to September from 9:00am to 5:00pm.

Hammond Park: Hammond Park is the jewel of the City's parks and reserves and is home to a range of native animals and features children's play equipment and BBQ facilties. With ponds and aviaries, it's a haven for a variety of birdlife including peacocks, and features a miniature Bavarian Castle built entirely of local gemstones. Bring along a picnic or enjoy light refreshments from the Cafe. 
Open October to March from 9:00am to 7:00pm; April to September from 9:00am to 5:00pm.

Lord Forrest Precinct: Heritage listed Lord Forrest Precinct was previously home to WA's first Olympic sized swimming pool. The building itself has been restored to its former glory, while the open spaces have been transformed into a public park. Featuring a large grassed area, undercover areas, a stage and an inside meeting space makes it the perfect place for activities and events.
Open all year round from 8:00am to 6:00pm. 

Kingsbury Park: Kingsbury Park is the Kalgoorlie CBD's primary recreational space. Home to Kalgoorlie-Boulder's only skate park, Kingsbury Park hosts many of the City's youth events and activities. Along with the skate park, Kingsbury Park provides play equipment, soccer, rugby and AFL goalposts, BBQ facilties and a basketball court. 
Open all year round from 8:00am to 10:00pm. 

Centennial Park: Centennial Park has a large grassed area with a shaded children's play equipment that is used by a large number of families. The park is equipped with a soundshell which is used throughout the year for various large events such as Australia Day Celebrations, Sunset at the Soundshell, Carols by Candlelight, Christmas in the Park and a number of school concerts. Centennial Park also offers seating, BBQ facilities, toilets, bicycle parking facilties, water bottle filling station and carpark.

Greenview Park: Greenview Park is an ideal park for families of all ages to enjoy some open space. The park features children's play equipment, BBQ facilities, drinking fountain, picnic benches, centre stage and open areas for families to enjoy.

Rotary Peace Park: Rotary Peace Park, also known as Twin Dams, is ideal for active people as it features a basketball court and outdoor gym equipment. It’s also great for families with children’s play equipment, shelters, picnic benches, BBQ facilities, toilets and a rotunda.

Finnerty Park: Finnerty Park is a beautiful recreational park with large shaded grassed areas, shaded children's play equipment, rotunda, basketball court and BBQ facilities making it a great venue for families and small events, or to relax and enjoy the gardens.

Karlkurla Bushland Park: Karlkurla Bushland Park is a nature reserve for locals and visitors who enjoy bushwalking and observing the native flora and fauna. This 200 hectare natural bushland comprises four kilometres of walking trails, interpretive flora signage and a variety of native plant species. Take time out from the hustle and bustle of life and witness the most amazing sunsets from the top of the Katunga lookout.
