Tickets are still available for Josephine Wants to Dance, a beautiful musical comedy based on the contemporary Australian children’s book by Jackie French and Bruce Whatley. Performing at the Goldfields Arts Centre this coming Friday 27th July 2018, the show is charmingly produced by the West Australian Ballet and Monkey Baa Theatre Company.
The inspirational story follows Josephine the kangaroo as she discovers a new way to dance and finds the inspiration to follow her dreams. Discovering a whole new world when a ballet troupe comes to her town, this performance is sure to enlighten the audience’s imagination.

“Prior to the performance, the Goldfields Arts Centre is hosting free workshops, which are at full capacity, and facilitated by the West Australian Ballet for registered local primary school students.”
This fun, energetic musical comedy is suitable for children under 10 years, and runs for 45 minutes. Parents are encouraged to bring their children in after the school day to kick-start their weekend.
