CITY OF KALGOORLIE-BOULDER 2018/19 RATES

I’m proud that we have been able to keep the rates down for a third successive year. Due to the hard work and dedication from both the inside administration and the outside work crews the Councillors have been able to keep this year’s increase to 1.8 per cent.

The commitment of the City’s employees is the reason I can honour my pledge to keep rates down while still providing facilities and services to you, the ratepayer. At the same time our financial health index has gone from number 139 out of 140 councils in the state to equal 18th – a remarkable achievement.

John Bowler,
Mayor
