  • Coordinator salary range (up to $125K) plus 10.5% superannuation

About the Role 

As the Co-ordinator Statutory Planning, you will be a critical member of the Development and Growth directorate leadership team, responsible for mentoring a dynamic team of statutory planners and coordinating the delivery of development services.  

 

The City is embarking on a significant change with the endorsement of LPS2, that will provide the successful candidate with an opportunity to lead the implementation of a new Scheme. With the significant growth of the resource industry and development investment, the role is integral to the City’s growth.

 

Our Ideal Candidate 

  • Tertiary qualification in Urban Planning, or other related discipline with a minimum of (2) two years relevant consulting experience 
  • Local and State government experience is favourable though not essential
  • Knowledge and understanding of WA Planning laws
  • Ability and willingness to influence and negotiate with relevant consultants, local and state government officers and agencies and the community
  • Ability to develop positive working relationships with internal team members, external clients, local and state government officers, state agencies, land-owners and community representatives
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
