The Goldfields Arts Centre are currently seeking enthusiastic, customer focused team members to join our casual pool of ushers and bar staff. We are seeking well-rounded and fun workers, who are willing to go the extra mile to create a memorable experience for community members attending the Goldfields Arts Centre facility.
Usher duties include, but not limited to: • Greeting and checking patron tickets upon entry to the Goldfields Arts Centre auditorium. • Assist patrons with finding their seat and escorting those whom require support. • Upon request, advise patrons of venue facilities and direct appropriately. • Ensure seating areas and evacuation routes within the auditorium are clear of obstacles at all times. • Supervise the audience during performance times. • Act as an evacuation marshal if/when required, assisting the team to ensure patrons evacuate the building in a safe and timely fashion, as per health and safety procedures. *Training and briefing provided upon commencement.
• RSA Accreditation not required however favorable.
Bar duties include, but not limited to: • Must have an Approved Manager or Responsible Service of Alcohol accreditation, • Serve customers in a polite and friendly manner. • Maintain a clean and safe work environment. • Cash handling and Eftpos operation. • Assist with pre and post bar operations (such as stock take) and clean-up. • Upon request, advise patrons of venue facilities and direct appropriately.
Working hours and days are subject to theatre shows, events and venue hire for both Ushers and Bar staff.
Total Package
Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
