Picture this, red dirt, blue skies, a world-class golf course and Australia’s largest Outback City with a population of over 30,000 people – a place you might soon be calling your new home. Kalgoorlie-Boulder is located in the heart of the Goldfields, a one-hour flight from Perth, and home to the world-famous Kalgoorlie Golf course.

The 18-hole, par 72 course was designed by renowned Golf Course Architect, Graham Marsh measuring 6,768 metres. While a lengthy course, the design is very much about strategy and approach shots into the greens. Bunkering is used as a feature to visually intimidate players. The course has been the home of the WA PGA Championship on the PGA Tour of Australasia for the past 12 years and has recently extended its agreement through to 2026. The golf course currently ranks as the 24th best public access golf course in Australia.

Surrounding the golf course is a City filled with abundance, boasting a 140 sporting organisations, 13 arts and culture organisations, and affordable housing with an average house price of $330,000 (40% lower than Perth).

As the successful candidate, you will be employed in a full time or part time capacity (negotiable) and you will be responsible for working closely with the Head Professional to manage the Pro-Shop, events and coaching.

Key Accountabilities
1. Assist the Head Professional to manage all Pro Shop and golf course operations which include timesheets, cart fleet, customer service.
2. Assist in facilitating Corporate Days, group bookings and other accountabilities as directed by the Head Professional and Golf Course Coordinator
3. Assist in all aspects of coaching, including juniors, men’s and senior clinics

Qualifications and Experience
1. PGA Golf Professional, current or aspiring PGA Associate
2. Senior First Aid
3. Working with Children Check
4. Previous Retail Experience

Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Salary ranges between $62,466 to $65,759
