The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder currently has an exciting opportunity for a confident, enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the Finance Department. Reporting to the Procurement Coordinator, this role is responsible ensuring the compliance of City officers to the Purchasing Policies and procedures to ensure probity in procurement activities.
The role also assists in the facilitation of the tender process to ensure efficient and accurate contractual documentation is produced, approved, advertised, adhered, audited and archived as per the City’s policies, procedures, statutory and/or legislative requirements.
You will enjoy working in a fast paced, supportive team environment in which you will be required to handle multiple tasks while meeting departmental deadlines. We are looking for someone who thrives working in a fun team environment, who can demonstrate initiative. You will have an excellent work ethic and have excellent communication skills.
