The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder launched a new corporate website last week to enhance service delivery and improve the overall customer experience for residents, businesses, and visitors.

After feedback regarding the navigation of the City’s previous website, a new platform was developed to improve the accessibility and usability of the City’s main information source.

The new site features an intuitive menu to help users easily find the information they are looking for, whether that be Council Meeting minutes, public notices, or resident information.

Looking for City events? The easy-to-use events module has been developed to house all City events in one convenient location, meaning residents will be kept up to date on all the City offers from Library Time to Sunset at the Soundshell Concerts. Want to know more about City projects? Simply click on current projects quick link on the website homepage to learn about the major infrastructure works happening in your area including road works.

Acting CEO, Mr. David Trevaskis said the new website will better connect the City with the residents and businesses of Kalgoorlie-Boulder.
“We wanted to ensure the website was designed first and foremost for our community. Keeping in mind how and why community members engage with us on a daily basis, we have created a digital platform that’s easy to use and encourages exploration,” Mr. Trevaskis said.

“The new website will enable our community, visitors and stakeholders to meet their own information needs, independently and securely, without necessarily having to telephone or come into the City offices in person.”

Community members are encouraged to submit their feedback on the new website, its features and their overall user experience by emailing mailbag@ckb.wa.gov.au.
