The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder in conjunction with HOSMAR Pty Ltd T/A Total Asphalt will commence the Summer Roads Renewal Program on January 4, 2022 and continue the renewals through to the end of February.

Many roads and intersections across the City will be resurfaced during this period to provide better access and improve road conditions to the residents and business owners of each area.

Prior to works commencing in each area, residents and business owners will receive a flyer in the mail with instructions for street parking and speed limits.

Please expect some minor delays during the works and if one of the Goldfield’s summer storms sets in, progress will experience a few setbacks.

This $3 million initiative continues the City’s annual roads renewal program in which 9% of the City’s roads network will be renewed.

Acting Chief Executive Officer David Trevaskis said the works taking place in 2022 will greatly benefit the community and improve the safety of the City’s roads network.

“I would like to thank all residents and business operators for their patience throughout 2021 as several key roads were renewed across the City and I look forward to another great year of works in 2022,” said Mr Trevaskis.

Please head to CKB Unearthed for updates on the program and to put ideas and feedback forward.
