The Hannan Street Footpath Upgrade project is continuing with the installation of public seating commencing Monday 28 February 2022.
The project, which began in November 2021, has seen the successful upgrade of the visual appeal, footpaths and accessibility elements (tactile indicators) incorporated into the historic Hannan Street.
The flower beds on Hannan St, including those in front of the Kalgoorlie-Boulder Court House, have been filled with mulch as a temporary solution to ensure public safety while garden designs are developed.
The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder continues to complete consultation with relevant businesses about the benches and appreciates the ongoing patience and support of residents and business owners as the Hannan St Footpath Upgrades project comes to its final stages.
