How do I know my application has been received?

After submitting your application on our website you will receive an email acknowledgement. This is confirmation that your application has been received by the City.

How do I know if I have been shortlisted for an interview?

Candidates that have been shortlisted will be notified within two weeks of the closing date by our People and Culture team. If you are not contacted within this time frame please take this is as an indication that your application has been unsuccessful.

How do I apply for employment opportunities?

The City only accepts applications submitted via our website.  To apply go to our Employment Opportunities page.

What if I do not have an email address?

No problems!

Can I drop my Resume into the City for any future employment opportunities?

The City does not accept unsolicited applications and does not refer to past applications for current vacancies. Therefore, you should directly apply for vacant positions even if you have previously applied, unless the advertisement specifically mentions that previous applicants need not apply.
