City encourages applications for Annual Grant Program 2024/25

The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder is pleased to announce applications for the 2024/25 Annual Grant Program (AGP) will open on Monday 12 February 2024.

The long-standing AGP aims to support not-for-profit community groups, organisations, and individuals (under auspice) by offering one-off grants and three-year service agreements. Funded initiatives are geared towards fostering positive contributions to the local community and enhancing the city's overall quality of life.

The program has, in the past funded a variety of initiatives, including community development projects, facility improvements, events, and programs. Last year, the City
proudly allocated $768,041 to successful applicants, ranking the AGP among the most substantial local government-funded programs in Western Australia.

Mayor Glenn Wilson expressed pride in the program's legacy and its significant contribution to the social well-being, development, and liveability of Kalgoorlie-Boulder.


"The Annual Grant Program provides an opportunity to secure funding for medium to large initiatives aligned with the City’s Strategic Community Plan 2020-30. Through AGP funding, numerous community projects have come to fruition, empowering organisations to continue their important work for city residents.This year, we’re excited to launch a new application portal through our website, which will make the application process a lot easier for people submitting their projects.”

The City encourages eligible organisations to take advantage of this funding opportunity by submitting applications before the deadline of 5 pm, Friday, 26 April 2024.

To provide insight into the application process and assist with any queries, the City will host two face-to-face information sessions on Tuesday, 20 February, from 12pm-1.30pm and Wednesday 6 March, from 5.30 pm-7pm at the Goldfields Arts Centre. Please RSVP by emailing agp@ckb.wa.gov.au.

Additionally, City Officers are available for phone consultations and one-on-one meetings to discuss individual applications in more detail.
