    • Fresh Fun Planned for Families this Australia Day

      The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder’s annual Australia Day event will head in a fresh new direction for 2018, with a late afternoon festival feel that kicks on in to the first Sunset at the Soundshell concert for the year with headline act Andtipodean Rock Collective, and ending in a fireworks spectacular.

    • Goldfields Arts Centre Closed due to Vandalism

      The Goldfields Arts Centre will remain closed for an extra week after the festive break, while repairs are carried out following six separate vandalism attacks on the building between Christmas and New Year.

      The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder’s first public electric vehicle charging point will be switched on today, with the arrival on an electric vehicle on a trans-continental journey to be the first to charge it’s batteries in Kalgoorlie-Boulder.
