Childcare Educator Scholarships
The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder received funding from the Department of Communities to help attract and retain childcare educators in Kalgoorlie-Boulder.
Through this initiative, the City, in partnership with the Job Support Hub, offered full fee-paying scholarships to people interested in having a career in the Childcare industry.
As a result of this funding, eight Kalgoorlie-Boulder residents are now actively studying for a career in Early Childhood Education and Care.
The new round of scholarship funding is for the Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care and the Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care with:
- Study at Central Regional TAFE (CRTAFE) – Kalgoorlie Campus
- Fees fully paid;
- Guaranteed work placements in local childcare centres for practical, on the job training;
- Guaranteed employment in local childcare centres when you finish your training.
