Club Development

We work in partnership with the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries, and are committed to supporting and building the capacity of sport and recreation clubs. We also aim to connect community members and enhance opportunities for sport and recreation in our city.

Through coordination of training, education and information workshops, we plan to give club committees the tools and resources they need to facilitate the efficient and effective governance of their sporting club.

To help us achieve our vision of creating a vibrant, inclusive and connected community, the City has a Sport Development Officer who is responsible for creating a strong relationship with the sporting community. This role also assists with ensuring effective communication between sporting clubs, associations and the City.
