Annual Grant Program

The 2020-21 AGP is OPEN for Applications. 

The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder's Annual Grant Program (AGP) is open for applications for projects and events which fall within the 2020-21 financial year.

The AGP is aimed at strengthening and enhancing the social wellbeing, development and sustainability of the Kalgoorlie-Boulder community through the development of projects and events. The program allows applications for funding for projects and events that align with the City's Strategic Community Plan 2019-29.

The City are looking for not for profit organisations who want to make a difference in the local community, and contribute to the City's quality of life through the provision of events, projects, activities and services. The City encourages all not for profit organisations to check their availability for the AGP and consider applying. 

Opening and Closing Dates
Applications open 9:00am Monday 3rd February 2020, and close 5:00pm Friday 24th April 2020.
Guidelines
All applicants are advised to read the Annual Grant Program Guidelines carefully to ensure their applications are complete with all the required supporting documentation. Failure to fully complete the application form or supply the supporting documentation may deem the application unsuccessful. 

 
Strategic Community Plan 2019-29
The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder is investing in our community by pursuing strategies that will future proof our City, expand and diversify our economy, increase our population, keep our community safe, connect our community and maintain a green and sustainable City. 

Applicants must provide details of how the application aligns to the key priorities noted in the Strategic Community Plan 2019-29.

These key priorities are:
  • Safe: We will be safe and free from harm and crime;
  • Connected: We will be connected to our history, culture and community;
  • Sustainable: A green ecologically sustainable City for current and future generations;
  • Empowered: We continue to believe in the principles of representational democracy, and are enabled to make decisions about our lives;
  • Capable: We will have the resources to contribute to our community and economy;
  • Futuristic: We plan for the future proofing of our City by being a thinking and innovative society.
Free Workshops
City Officers will be facilitating workshops in collaboration with Ali Kent from Compass Project Consultancy. Ali has amassed over 30 years' experience in high level strategic management in the WA State Government, which has seen her secure multi-million dollars worth of funding projects and programs. 

Workshops are free to attend and participants are required to register for each workshop by emailing agp@ckb.wa.gov.au or phoning 9021 0979.

Workshop 1 - Application Forms and Processes 

Wednesday 5th February 2020, 7:30am to 9:30am, Black Crow Studios (11 Boulder Road)

This workshop is to provide the applicant with essential information about processes, along with assistance in completing the application form to ensure the best outcome for the applicant. 

Workshop 2 - Project Planning

Wednesday 19th February 2020, 7:30am to 9:30am, Black Crow Studios (11 Boulder Road)

Investing time to develop a good project plan is important. This workshop provides practical methods to develop and deploy a project plan to deliver a successful project. 

Workshop 3 - Application Forms and Processes 

Wednesday 11th March 2020, 6:00pm to 8:00pm, Black Crow Studios (11 Boulder Road)

This workshop is to provide the applicant with essential information about processes, along with assistance to completing the application form to ensure the best outcome for the applicant.
