Heritage Precincts

In June 1999, a heritage area study was conducted to identify culturally significant places in the Kalgoorlie and Boulder town sites, and group them together into designated heritage areas for better planning, conservation and management.

As a result of the study, 2 heritage precincts were created at Hannan Street and Burt Street.

The study was conducted by:

  • Considine and Griffths Architects
  • Chris Antill Planning and Urban Design
  • Erickson and Taylor
