More carparks coming to Egan Street

What about the Jacaranda Trees?

In Kalgoorlie-Boulder no Jacaranda get's left behind. We certainly love these trees and that's why we are taking extra special care of them during this road project.

On Egan st. some of the Jacaranda Trees were not keeping too well. As part of the roadworks and parking installation we are relocating some of the trees to their new home at Centennial Park.

They will join other trees at the park and be able to grow and flourish with increased reticulation and TLC. The remaining trees on Egan st. will see improved reticulation installed and will be complemented by beautiful new landscaping around the new car space verge areas.

The trees have been pruned back where needed, in order to rejuvenate the tree and assist with its growth during this transition phase.

Road Resealing

In addition to the installation of angle parking, the road between Maritana St. and Cassidy St. will receive a fresh coat of prime seal.

Egan Street Carpark Works

As part of these works both of the two main car parks on Egan St. will be sealed and asphalted.

This includes:

• The carpark behind the Commonwealth Bank
• The carpark behind the Criterion Hotel

They will also receive fresh kerbing and line markings.
