Employment Status: Full Time

  • Coordinator salary range (up to $135K) plus 10.5% superannuation
  • Permanent full-time opportunity with flexible working arrangements possible

About the Role 

As the Co-ordinator Strategic Planning, you will be a key senior member of Development and Growth team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be at the forefront of creating an enabling environment and strategies to support the delivery of $8+ billion in major resources projects within the City’s economic zone and major Council projects that will shape that City’s future.   

 

Our Ideal Candidate 

 

  • Tertiary qualification in Urban Planning, or other related discipline with a minimum of (2) two years relevant consulting experience 
  • Local and State government experience is favourable though not essential
  • Knowledge and understanding of WA Planning laws
  • Ability and willingness to influence and negotiate with relevant consultants, local and state government officers and agencies and the community
  • Ability to develop positive working relationships with internal team members, external clients, local and state government officers, state agencies, land-owners and community representatives
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
