Bring your holiday spirit and join us for some festive family fun!
We're taking over Burt Street once again for the annual Christmas Street Party and lighting of the Christmas tree!
Enjoy the non-stop entertainment on the main stage including performances by local musicians and dance troupes, take part in crafty activities and festive workshops, browse one-of-a-kind gifts from the wide range of market stalls, and much more! Indulge in tasty treats from our food vendors, and then help us top off the party with the lighting of the Christmas tree and a firework show that's nothing short of magical!
Did we also mention there will be a very jolly special guest...
This is a family-friendly festive event not to be missed.
While some stalls and shops may have EFTPOS, please remember to bring cash so you can shop at all the attending stalls.
Important Event Information:
- Lighting of the Christmas Tree is scheduled for 7:30pm, followed by the fireworks show
- Be sun smart - remember your sunscreen, hat and water bottles
- The Christmas Street Party is a smoke and vape-free event
Parking and shuttle bus information:
- Disabled parking is available on Hamilton Street
- Parking is available at Digger Daws
- Shuttle buses will be running during the event between 3pm and 8pm from Digger Daws Oval to Lane Street

Santa Claus’s visit is a highlight! Children eagerly await his arrival, hoping to catch a glimpse of the man in the red suit to say hello and help light the Christmas tree.
