Join Peg Davies, sustainability educator and waste-wise guru, at this daytime workshop with our friends at the C.Y O'Connor Men’s Shed, where you'll learn how to build your own wicking bed.
In this exciting workshop you'll learn how wicking beds use less water than your standard garden beds, and other benefits including:
- Reduce the need for frequent watering
- Limiting loss of water due to evaporation
- Providing plants with consistent water supply
In Peg’s workshop, you’ll learn how to create your own wicking bed at home using recycled materials, which will help keep your plants happy and healthy through the long Kalgoorlie summers.
