The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder is excited to announce that Pixar Putt, the hugely popular Pixar-themed mini-golf experience, is heading to the Goldfields Oasis for an 11-day season kicking off Saturday 28 June - and Kalgoorlie-Boulder will be the very first regional location in Western Australia to host the internationally acclaimed attraction.

Part of the City’s biennial Pop-Up Project initiative - which brings exclusive, world-class events to the heart of Kalgoorlie-Boulder - Pixar Putt promises a unique and playful experience that’s open to the whole community.

Mayor Glenn Wilson said the City was proud to bring another truly special and one-of-a-kind experience for residents and visitors this winter.

"Our community loved the ice-skating experience a few years back, so we’re absolutely thrilled to be bringing another exciting attraction to Kalgoorlie-Boulder - and proud to be the first regional stop in Western Australia for Pixar Putt," Mayor Wilson said.

"This is a big win for Kalgoorlie-Boulder and a great example of what we can achieve when we think outside the box and push for something different. It's not just about hosting an event - it's about creating memorable experiences for local residents and communities right across regional WA who will travel here for it."

“As a dad, I’m really looking forward to tackling the course with my four-year-old, who’s a huge Lightning McQueen fan. It’s the kind of experience you’d usually find in Perth or Melbourne so it’s fantastic to have it here at home in Kalgoorlie-Boulder,” said Mayor Wilson.

Featuring themed holes based on Toy Story, The Incredibles, Finding Nemo, Cars, Turning Red, and more - including a brand-new hole inspired by Inside Out 2 — the course is designed for all ages, offering both daytime and After-Dark sessions for adults 18+ On Friday and Saturday nights with a pop-up bar.

Shane Harmon, Managing Director of TEG Experiences, said the team is excited to bring Pixar Putt to Kalgoorlie-Boulder for the very first time.

"Pixar Putt has had more than 700,000 mini golfers putting to infinity and beyond since we launched in 2019 and we are thrilled to be heading to Goldfields Oasis in Kalgoorlie-Boulder for the first time,” he said.

“We can’t wait to showcase this Aussie fan-favourite attraction which has recently won a new legion of international fans in New York, Texas and Chicago. Kalgoorlie is the perfect location for Pixar Putt - there’s plenty of space for patrons to have fun and kick some serious putt!"
