Our Brand Story

The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder is a place of opportunity for everyone — from those who have lived here their whole lives, to those embarking on a new adventure, and those who come to study, work, and enjoy the unique Kalgoorlie-Boulder lifestyle.

Known for its wide-open skies, red dirt, and rich gold deposits, Kalgoorlie-Boulder has a character like no other. Our logo reflects this spirit — inspired by the City’s colourful lifestyle, surrounding landscape, and natural beauty.

Using the City Logo

The City’s logo is an important part of our visual identity. It must appear on all materials produced by the City and is also used to recognise City-supported and funded events, projects, and initiatives.

To maintain a strong and consistent identity, the use of the City logo must follow the official guidelines. All uses of the logo must be approved by the City’s Marketing and Communications team prior to publishing.

Style Guidelines

The City’s Style Guidelines provide clear direction on:

  • Correct logo use and co-branding requirements

  • Colour palette, fonts, and typography

  • Templates for documents, presentations, and promotional materials

  • Visual standards for photography and imagery

These guidelines help ensure a consistent and professional look across everything we create, strengthening the City’s identity in the community.
