The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder’s Living Life Well Seniors Expo is back this year, providing senior residents, carers, and their families the opportunity to connect with service providers in one place.
Last year’s event received positive feedback from both residents and service providers. The expo showcases various services and gives seniors the opportunity to obtain a range of information and resources from local, state, and national organisations and providers.
An important initiative of the City’s Age Friendly Strategy, the Senior’s Expo ensures senior residents are kept informed, supported, and made aware of the resources available to them in order to make informed decisions for their needs.
In addition to a range of stall holders, the one-stop-shop-style event will also feature live entertainment and refreshments throughout the day, as well as a free BBQ lunch and an ice-cream van.
Mayor Wilson said he is proud of what the City has achieved as part of the Aged Friendly Strategy and its ongoing commitment to improving services for senior residents.
“From our twice weekly In-Centre Meals to our expanded suite of programs and activities at the Eastern Goldfields Community Centre, we’re really proud of the progress made over the last two years.”
“With the support of our Seniors Focus Group, we are continuously listening to feedback from our senior residents, and the Seniors Expo is just one example of how we are working with service providers to ensure information and resources are not only easily accessible but also explained.”

The 2024 Living Life Well Seniors Expo will be held on Tuesday, 30 April, from 9am to 3pm at the Eastern Goldfields Community Centre.
