Dress Code
- Relaxed dress code: neat, casual clothing and enclosed shoes required.
- No formal golf attire necessary.
Age & Supervision
- Kids under 12 play free with free club hire.
- Children under 18 may require parental supervision for safety.
Bookings & Payments
- Green fees vary by number of holes (9 or 18), day, and equipment hire.
- Payment required at time of booking; no refunds for no-shows.
Operating Hours
- Open 7 days a week, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
Equipment & Safety
- Club and cart hire available; must return in good condition. (not included in the Summer Vibes Passport)

Orana Cinemas Terms & Conditions
Age Restrictions
- Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult for certain sessions (especially MA15+ or licensed areas like Bogarts).
Ticketing
- Online ticket purchases close 3 hours prior to session time.
- Tickets are non-refundable once purchased.
- Group bookings require prior arrangement and may have restrictions (e.g., not on release day, not during school holidays). Arrival & Seating

Terms and Conditions of Entry - 2025 Scan and Win Competition
The promoter of the Go Local First Kalgoorlie-Boulder Promotion is the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder, 577 Hannan Street Kalgoorlie WA 6430
- This competition is a promotion run by the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder (“Promoter”).
- Entries, information on prizes & how to enter form part of these Terms & Conditions.
- Participation in this competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
- To enter the competition, the entrant must;
- Be a current resident of the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder (excluding Elected Members and staff – refer to clause 5).
- Not be considered an “excluded entity” as described in clause 6.
- City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder Elected Members and staff are ineligible to enter the competition.
- An Excluded Entity is not eligible for inclusion in the Competition. Excluded Entities are:
- State and/or Federal Government Agencies;
- Corporations; and
- Entry into the competition must be completed before the closing dates mentioned to go into the draws. No responsibility is accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries.
- To enter the competition, entrants must make a purchase at a participating local business and then scan the QR code on the sign at the business and complete the entry form.
- There are 4 prizes to be won, $250 Kal Dollar voucher.
- The competition commences 15 February and closes 16 March 2025.
- The competition will have one winner every week for the duration of the competition, and the winners will be drawn on 24 February, 3 March, 10 March and 17 March 2025, at the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder Administration Building, 577 Hannan Street, Kalgoorlie.
- The 4 winners will be randomly selected via a computer program, under the supervision of representatives from the City. The promoter’s decision is final & no correspondence will be entered into.
- The winners will be notified by a phone call from a City representative.
- Photo opportunity of the winner.
- Competition results will be published on the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder Facebook page.
- The information that entrants provide will be used by the Promoter for the purpose of conducting the competition. By entering this competition entrants consent to the use of their contact details for the purposes described in this clause.

These details will not be disclosed to third parties unless the Council is required to disclose the information under other legislation or disclosure is necessary to complete the purpose for which it is sought. You may access information you have provided to the Council at any time and make corrections if you believe that information is incorrect.

For the purposes of these terms and conditions reference to a rate notice also includes reference to any rate instalment notices.
1. Eligibility
- This competition is a promotion run by the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder (“Promoter”), ABN 63 711 737 609.
- Participation in this competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
- To be eligible to enter, the entrant must:
- Be a current individual ratepayer of the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder.
- Not be an Elected Member, Employee of the City, or an immediate family member of such individuals.
- Not be an excluded entity, including
- State and/or Federal Government Agencies;
- Corporations;
- Property owners of non-rateable land as defined in Section 6.26(2) of the Local Government Act 1995.
2. Entry
- Eligible ratepayers must sign up for electronic rate notices via the official City website (www.ckb.wa.gov.au) during the promotional period.
- Entrants must provide accurate and up-to-date information, including name, address, and email address.
- Only one entry per ratepayer is permitted. Multiple entries will be disqualified.
- Entries must be received by 10:00 PM WST on 30 September 2025 to be eligible.
- Entries received after the promotional period will not be considered.
- The related property rates account must be fully paid by the due date (30 September 2025).
- Ratepayers who have previously subscribed to eRates will automatically be entered into the prize draw.
- The City is not responsible for technical issues or late, lost, or misdirected payments that may prevent entry

3. Promotional Period
- The promotional period begins on 1 July 2025 and ends on 30 September 2025.
4. Prize
- The prize is a $500 VISA gift card.
- The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
5. Winner Selection
- The winner will be selected randomly from all eligible entries under the supervision of City representatives.
- The draw will take place at the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder Administration Building, 577 Hannan Street, Kalgoorlie, on Thursday 9 October 2025 at 10:00 AM.
6. Notification
- The winner will be notified via phone and email within 7 days of the draw.
- The winner will be invited to attend a Rates Prize Draw photo session at a date to be advised by the City.
- The winner must provide proof of identity (e.g., driver’s license) to collect the prize.
7. General Conditions
- The City reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all entrants.
- The City may amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
- By entering, participants agree to the use of their name and image for promotional purposes related to the competition.
- Personal information collected will be used solely for the administration of this competition and will be handled in accordance with the City’s privacy policy.

2. Entry Requirements
Ratepayers must pay their 2025/26 rates in full by the respective due dates listed on their annual rates billing notice:
- 1st Prize: $3,000: Payment due by 10.00pm WST, 16 September 2025
- 2nd Prize: $2,000: Payment due by 10.00pm WST, 23 September 2025
- 3rd Prize: $1,000: Payment due by 10.00pm WST, 30 September 2025
Payment must be received before the relevant closing date to be eligible for the corresponding prize draw.
The City is not responsible for technical issues or delays that may result in late, lost, or misdirected payments.
3. Competition Period
The competition opens on 1 July 2025 and closes at 10.00pm WST on 30 September 2025.
4. Ineligible Participants

7. Notification and Prize Distribution

- Winners will be invited to participate in a Rates Prize Draw photo session (date to be confirmed).
- Cash prizes will be paid via electronic funds transfer to the winners nominated bank accounts.

Terms and Conditions
1.1 Invitation
The City of Kalgoorlie–Boulder (the City) invites offers to purchase the impounded vehicles listed in Part 2 of this Invitation for Offers.
1.2 Submission Requirements
- Offers must be submitted using the Form of Offer provided in Part 2.
- Offers not submitted on the prescribed form will not be considered.
- Prospective buyers may submit offers for one or more vehicles.
- Forms must be fully completed and signed.
- Corrections must be made by drawing a single line through the incorrect text, inserting the amendment, and initialling the change. Overwriting or the use of correction fluid is not permitted.
- If two or more offers of the same value are received for a vehicle, the successful offer will be selected by a lot draw conducted by the City.
1.3 Basis of Sale
All vehicles are offered for sale “as is, where is”. No warranties are provided.
1.4 Selection Criterion
The sole selection criterion is price.
1.5 GST
The sale of impounded vehicles is a taxable supply. All offers must be made inclusive of GST.
1.6 Vehicle Title
The City has made enquiries with the Personal Property Securities Register and Western Australia Police. No encumbrances or stolen vehicle records were identified at the time of enquiry. The City does not warrant title and encourages buyers to undertake their own checks.
1.7 Vehicle Inspection
Vehicles may be inspected at the Animal Management Facility, 20 Throssell Street, Kalgoorlie, between 9.00am and 4.00pm on the dates shown on the front page. Inspections will not be available outside these times. A Ranger will be in attendance to assist.
1.8 Lodgement of Offers
Completed and signed Forms of Offer must be placed in a plain, sealed envelope marked “Disposal of Impounded Vehicles” and deposited in one of the lodgement locations listed on the front page.
1.9 Closing Date and Time
Offers must be received before 3.00pm WST on Monday 23 February 2026.
1.10 Late Offers
Offers received after the closing time will not be considered.
1.11 Misdelivered Offers
Offers delivered to an address other than those specified will not be considered.
1.12 Offers Submitted by Fax or Email
Offers submitted electronically (fax or email) will not be accepted.
1.13 Incomplete Offers
Incomplete forms may not be considered.
1.14 Acceptance of Offers
- No offer is accepted until the City issues written notice of acceptance.
- Upon written acceptance, the City and the buyer are contractually bound to complete the sale.
1.15 Collection of Vehicles
- Vehicles must be collected within 14 days of the City’s acceptance letter.
- Collection must occur between 9.00am and 4.30pm, Monday to Friday, at the Animal Management Facility.
- Buyers must present a valid driver’s licence when collecting a vehicle.
- Vehicles not collected within 14 days may be disposed of.
1.16 Canvassing
Canvassing of Elected Members or City Officers will result in disqualification from the process.
1.17 Disclosure of Information
Offer documents will be treated as confidential, except where disclosure is required under law, including the Local Government Act 1995, the Local Government (Functions and General) Regulations 1996, the Freedom of Information Act 1992, or by court order. All successful buyers will be notified of the outcome.

1. Eligibility
- Nominees must meet age requirements for their category (generally 12–25 years).
- Nominees must live, work, or study in Kalgoorlie-Boulder.
- The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder staff are ineligible for individual awards.
- The Kalgoorlie-Boulder Youth Council and City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder are ineligible for Youth Organisation of the Year.
2. Consent
By submitting a nomination, nominees consent to:
- Their nomination details being shared with the judging panel.
- Participation in media interviews and promotional activities related to the awards.
- Use of photographs, videos, and nomination content for promotional purposes by the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder.
- Permission for use of media and content remains ongoing unless withdrawn in writing.
3. Submissions
- When addressing the selection criteria, nomination submissions may not exceed 300 words.
- Supporting documents must not exceed two pages.
4. Attendance
- Finalists must attend the Kalgoorlie-Boulder Youth Awards ceremony (date and venue to be confirmed). Assistance for travel may be provided for remote finalists.
5. Judging
- Judges reserve the right to request additional information to support nominations
- The Community Champion Award is selected by the Youth Council from all nominees in the individual award categories.
- All decisions by the judging panel are final.
6. Privacy
- Personal information will be used solely for the purpose of administering the awards and will be stored securely.
7. Ambassador Role
- Award winners may be invited to participate in youth engagement activities and act as ambassadors for youth initiatives during the following year.
8. Accuracy
- Nominators certify that all information provided is true and correct.

Terms & Conditions
1. Category Descriptions
Participants may nominate for one of the following categories:
- Singing / Vocal: Solo or group vocal performances accompanied by backing tracks or live instruments. Maximum of two songs within the allotted time.
- Dance: Any style of solo or group dance performance. Music must be pre-approved and family-friendly.
- Instrumental: Solo or group instrumental acts using any musical instrument. Backing tracks are permitted.
- Band / Group Performance: Small groups or bands performing any genre. Original or cover music accepted.
- Spoken Word / Poetry: Original or published pieces performed aloud. Content must remain appropriate for all ages.
- Comedy: Stand-up comedy, character skits, or funny monologues. Clean comedy only.
- Cultural Performance: Traditional or contemporary cultural expression, including dance, music, or storytelling.
2. Performance Length
- Maximum performance time: 4 minutes per act. Includes setup and pack-down.
- Performers exceeding time limits may be stopped by event staff.
- Backing tracks must be submitted prior to the event, in the format requested by the City.
3. Content Standards
All performances must be appropriate for a general audience. The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder reserves the right to decline or stop performances that include:
- Offensive, discriminatory, or explicit language
- Sexual content or mature themes
- Violence, weapons, or unsafe props
- Drug, alcohol, or smoking references
- Dangerous stunts or activities
- Any content that may be considered harmful, disrespectful, or inappropriate
Failure to meet content standards may result in disqualification.
4. Safety Requirements
- All performers must follow directions from City staff, volunteers, and audio/visual contractors.
- Props must be declared in advance and approved by the City.
- No fire, hazardous materials, or unsafe equipment will be permitted.
- Footwear should be appropriate for stage safety.
- Participants must remain in designated areas and avoid restricted zones.
- First Aid will be available on site; performers must inform staff of any medical conditions.
The City may refuse any act deemed unsafe.
5. Permission for Photography and Filming
By entering the event, performers (and their parents/guardians if under 18) acknowledge and consent that:
- The event will be photographed and filmed by the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder.
- Images and footage may be used for promotional, marketing, and reporting purposes.
- No financial compensation will be provided for the use of media collected at the event.
If a participant does not wish to be photographed or filmed, they must notify staff at the time of registration.
6. Judging & Prizes
- Winners will be decided by community voting at the event.
- City staff will oversee the vote counting process.
- Prizes will be awarded as follows: 1st place – $500, 2nd place – $300, 3rd place – $200, plus a trophy.
- Winners must be present at the announcement to collect their prize.
- All judging decisions are final.
7. Cancellation / Weather Policy
The event may be postponed, cancelled, or modified in the event of adverse weather or safety concerns.
6. Consent for Participants Under 18
Participants under the age of 18 must have:
- Parent/guardian consent provided through the registration form.
- Parent/guardian present at the event OR an approved responsible adult supervising them.
- Emergency contact details supplied in the registration form.
- Registrations without verified consent will not be accepted.

Artist Criteria for Entry
- The Artist must be an Australian Citizen, Australian resident or have resided in Australia for at least 2 years;
- Artist must be a minimum of 13 years of age;
- Artists under 18 years of age require the permission of a parent/guardian to enter.
- Artists are only permitted one entry.
Artwork Criteria for Entry
- All Artwork must be the original work of the Artist;
- It is the sole responsibility of the Artist to ensure the submitted Artwork is not or will not be in breach of any intellectual property entitlements or regulations;
- All Artwork must not have been exhibited previously;
- All Artwork must be professionally presented in a condition suitable for Exhibition;
- All 2D Artwork is must be submitted framed, ready to hang with suitable hanging devices, such as “D” rings, cord or picture wire however,
- All 3D Artwork must come with adequate support to display the Artwork (plinths will be supplied);
- Weight limit for 2D Artwork is 5kg
- Weight limit for 3D is 15kg
- All Mixed Media Artwork (Digital, Video Works and Multi-Media) must be presented as a QR code. No televisions or screens will be accepted;
- Artwork that is not completely dry of paint or glue will not be accepted;
- Damaged or repaired Artwork will not be accepted;
- Stand up table frames for photographs will not be accepted;
- Artwork must be robust and able to be displayed for the entire Exhibition period;
- The maximum size for any singular artwork, including 3D works, is 1m wide by 1m high. Diptychs and triptychs can be submitted however, the diptychs and triptychs total measurements of combined panels, are required to be within the 1m wide by 1m high measurements.
- Each Artwork must be labelled on the back with artist name and Artwork title;
- Any Artwork delivered that fails to meet these criteria will not be accepted and entry fees will not be refunded.
Exhibition Criteria
- Each Artist should state if there are any particular directions for the display of the Artwork;
- Efforts will be made to accommodate Artist’s requests for display; however, the final display is at the discretion of the Curator;
- An Artists’ statement will only be accepted and displayed if it is included in the entry form and MUST be no longer than 100 words. If this limit is not adhered to, the final edit is at the discretion of the Curator;
- The identity of the Artist will be concealed at the time of judging. Artists are encouraged to sign their Artwork ensuring the signature is placed in such a way to accommodate this;
- As this is a community event, Artwork must be suitable for viewing by all age groups;
- The City reserves the right to refuse to display or withdraw any Artwork deemed unsuitable;
- If the City decides that the Artwork is not acceptable for inclusion, the Artist will be contacted to arrange for collection of the Artwork;
- Information regarding the Artwork details (Artist’s name, title of the Artwork, medium, size, sale price and the nominated Award Categories) included in the Artwork Entry Form is final once submitted and changes cannot be made;
- Commencing from the delivery of the Artwork and until the conclusion of the event, the Artwork can remain on display at the discretion of the City, whether sold or not;
- Artwork must not be removed from display (by the Artist or the buyer) during the Exhibition period between Friday 11 September and Friday 16 October 2026.
Entry Fees and How to Register
- Entry forms will only be accepted by online submission via www.ckb.wa.gov.au/artprize or, hand delivered to the Goldfields Arts Centre, Cheetham Street, Kalgoorlie.
- An entry fee of $30 is payable by the Artist at the time of registration;
- Online Payment is available via www.ckb.wa.gov.au/artprize or in person at the Goldfields Arts Centre Box Office. Please note the Box Office is open from 10:00am to 3:00pm Monday to Friday;
- Entry fee payments are non-refundable;
- Artist Registration forms must be submitted no later than 11:59pm Friday 29 May 2026.
- Artwork Entry Form must be submitted no later than 11:59pm Friday 31 July 2026.
- Late or unpaid entries will NOT be accepted;
- In order to manage the capacity of the available Exhibition space, the Curator reserves the right to limit the number of entries.
Artist Responsibilities
- The Artist is responsible for insuring against all damage, on their individual Artwork whilst in the City’s custody and in transit. The City will not be responsible for and damage caused whilst on display at the Goldfields Arts Centre;
- The Artist is solely responsible for satisfying any copyright requirements concerning their Artwork submission;
- The Artist is responsible for ensuring the category selections are completed correctly on the entry form to ensure they are judged in the appropriate categories.
- If the Artist is couriering artwork, it is the Artist’s responsibility to arrange collection for drop off prior to the exhibition, as well as pick up of the artwork at the conclusion of the exhibition (if unsold), at their own expense.
Release from Liability
- The City will endeavour to exercise all reasonable care in handling the Artwork, however will not be held to be responsible for the damage or loss of any Artwork including during transit;
- The Artist warrants that, there is no cultural, religious, legal, or any other reason that prevents the Artwork from being exhibited, published or reproduced and that the Artwork is their own original work;
- By submitting the Artwork for inclusion in the Exhibition, the Artist agrees to allow the City to reproduce, publish and display the Artwork, in full or in part, for use in any non-commercial promotional materials and publications, including promotions of the City’s future Exhibitions; and allow the City to publish the Artist’s name, Artist’s location. Artwork title and Artist statement provided by the Artist in connection with their Entry.
Sale of the Artwork
- All Artwork must be for sale;
- Sale price can not be $0.00
- The Artist must determine the sale price and include that price on the entry form;
- The sale price must include a 25% commission fee to be retained by the City;
- The sale price being included on the entry form is an authority to the City to sell the Artwork at that price;
- The sale price cannot be changed once set and remains fixed for the duration of the Exhibition;
- The City will contact the Artist if their Artwork has been sold. If you are not contacted, please assume the Artwork has not sold;
- The Artist will be paid for sold Artwork (excluding the 25% commission fee) within a reasonable time from the sold date to after the closure of the Exhibition;
- The Artist must supply for tax purposes either an ABN or an ATO Statement by a Supplier Form;
- The City and any Art Prize Partners reserve the first right to purchase the Artwork prior to the Art Prize Awards Opening Event;
- All unsold Artwork must be collected by the Artist on the specified date, from the nominated pick-up location in which the Artist specified on their Artwork Entry Form.
- For payment of sold Artwork, the Artist is required to be on-boarded via the EFTsure platform.
Competition Guidelines
- The Artwork will be judged across all nominated award categories;
- All Artwork will be considered for the Acquisitional Major Prize and the People’s Choice Award;
- All Artwork will be judged on artistic merit by a panel of independent arts industry professionals selected by the City;
- The People’s Choice Award is selected by public vote;
- The City reserves the right to disqualify any People’s Choice vote it deems to be not genuine;
- All Artwork must be delivered to one of the nominated drop-off locations which can be found at www.ckb.wa.gov.au/artprize by the date specified for each drop-off location. Artwork not received within these times will be excluded from the Exhibition and refunds for entry fees will not be granted;
- Artwork cannot be collected any earlier than the specified date;
- After 30 days following the closure of the Exhibition, uncollected Artwork will become the property of the City and may be disposed of at its discretion;
- All decisions of the judging panel in relation to any aspect of the competition will be final and binding;
- Feedback will not be provided to the Artist;
- Award winners will be announced at the Art Prize Awards Night held on 11 September 2026;
- The People’s Choice Award winner will be announced following the closure of the Exhibition on 16 October 2026;
- Artists do not have to be present at the Awards Night to be eligible for the prize however, must make a reasonable attempt to provide a suitable proxy of their behalf;
Special Conditions for the Acquisitional Major Prize
- The Acquisitional Major Prize winner agrees to accept the prize of $15,000;
- The Acquisitional Major Prize winner agrees to forfeit any sale of the Artwork in exchange for the Acquisitional Major Prize;
- The Acquisitional Major Prize winner must attend the Awards Night in order to be eligible for the Acquisitional Major Prize, or make a reasonable attempt to provide a suitable proxy on their behalf;
- Ownership of the Acquisitional Major Prize Artwork will vest in the City absolutely from 11 September 2026.
