Act Local Grant Writing Workshops

Have a project idea but not sure where to start when it comes to funding?
These free Grant Writing Workshops will help community groups, sporting clubs, volunteer organisations and local changemakers build the skills and confidence needed to apply for grants.
The practical workshops will cover:
- What funders are looking for
- How to write stronger applications
- Responding to selection criteria
- Planning projects that align with funding priorities
- Finding local, regional and state funding opportunities
Attendees will also hear directly from funding providers, including from the City and Department of Creative Industries, Tourism and Sport.
Date: Wednesday 17 June 2026
Session Times:
- Morning Session: 9.30am – 11.30am
- Evening Session: 6.00pm – 8.00pm
Location: Goldfields Arts Centre, 35 Cheetham Street, Kalgoorlie
Light refreshments will be provided.
The workshops are free to attend, however registrations are essential.
