Awakening

In Awakening, Jose Bacarreza invites viewers to cross the threshold between the visible and the imagined.

His paintings unfold as dreams suspended between ruin and rebirth — where an abandoned car becomes a garden, a sleeping figure guards celestial eggs and nature itself awakens as consciousness.

Blending myth, memory and the Australian landscape, Bacarreza paints not what is seen, but what is remembered and felt — the moment when light, matter and spirit meet.

All artwork on display will be available to purchase for the duration of the exhibition.
