Goldfields DAMA Extension: Online Information Session
Thursday 3rd September 2026

Local employers are invited to attend a free online information session on the Goldfields Designated Area Migration Agreement (DAMA) and the recent extension of the program to 31 December 2026.
The session will provide an overview of the extension, what it means for employers across the Goldfields region, and how the Goldfields DAMA will transition into the new State-wide WA DAMA framework.
During the extension period, employers should note that there is no application fee for endorsement applications submitted to the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder as the Goldfields Designated Area Representative (DAR).
Representatives from the City, the Department of Home Affairs, and the Department of Training and Workforce Development will provide information on:
- Employer eligibility requirements
- The endorsement process for Labour Agreements
- Key updates on the transition to the WA DAMA framework
Employers will also have the opportunity to ask questions and gain a better understanding of how the DAMA program can support their workforce and recruitment needs.
