Amy Astill, Goldfields Youth Forum 2021
The Goldfields Youth Forum hosted by CKB Youth is an opportunity to stand up, speak out, and be heard by community leaders and support organisations.
This free event will feature inspiring guest speakers, break-out sessions, food and entertainment.
This year’s Forum will be hosted by its founder, Amy Astill with a selection of guest speakers set to take the stage to empower and inspire the audience of young people in attendance.
The Forum gives young people the opportunity to directly engage with service organisations and local leaders through panel discussions and during break times.
Youth will also be consulted on a range of issues facing young people, giving the City and Youth Council a sense of understanding of what is important to them, and current challenges they face.
The discussions at the Forum will inform the City’s future Youth Strategic Action Plan (2023-2026).
Ashlee Harrison, CEO and Founder of zero2hero and the 2013 Young Australian of the Year finalist is one of the featured guest speakers for the evening.
This is an opportunity for young people aged 12 to 25 to speak out and be heard by community leaders and youth support organisations.
Food and entertainment are provided throughout the evening. Plus there's up to $200 in door prizes up for grabs!
