Harmony Week is an annual Australian celebration of cultural diversity, bringing together people from all backgrounds. In collaboration with local multicultural groups and community members, the City will be co-designing a Harmony Week program that reflects our commitment to fostering a welcoming and inclusive community.

Together, let’s celebrate the vibrant diverse community threads that weave community connection in Kalgoorlie-Boulder.

Community Participation Invitation

City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder invites community groups and organisations to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to co-design Harmony Week 2026.

EOIs are welcome from: 

  • Community and cultural groups
  • Multicultural organisations
  • Not-for-profit and volunteer organisations 

Proposals for community-led activities that celebrate arts, culture and diversity and reflection on the Harmony Week theme, Interwoven, are encouraged including: 

  • Cultural performances (music or dance), art (textile / paintings/ cultural displays)
  • Workshops, storytelling or community talks
  • Community information or engagement stalls
  • Family-friendly or youth-focused Harmony Week themed activities.
